Music is a powerful tool for learning. It engages the whole child, making it the perfect medium to prepare children for the big step into kinder and school.
Why School Readiness Matters
Starting kinder & school is a big milestone.
Children need more than just letters and numbers to succeed, they need strong social, emotional, physical, and communication skills.
Music is a powerful way to achieve this. Through rhythm, song, movement, and play, children practice these skills in a joyful, memorable way.
Through our fun, play-based music sessions, children will:
πΆ Build listening & attention skills
πΆ Learn to share, take turns & make friends
πΆ Boost early literacy & numeracy foundations
πΆ Strengthen fine & gross motor skills
πΆ Grow confidence and independence
Our Approach
Facilitated by a registered music therapist, sessions are high quality and based on evidence-based music therapy research. We use live music and adapt the program to suit the individual needs and preferences of the children in the group.
Music works as itβs so engaging and motivating for kids. Itβs an excellent tool to rehearse early literacy and numeracy, collaboration skills, build friendships and respectful relationships.
