If you want to sing, play instruments, have fun, meet new people, and develop your creativity, then this is the group for you.

The adult disability group meets weekly during the school term with breaks over the school holidays.  We have three sessions available:

11.30am Tuesdays

11.30am Fridays (band) for older adults

1pm Fridays for younger adults

The groups are facilitated by a registered music therapist who has extensive experience running groups and working with adults with disability.

The group repertoire and activities will be chosen together by the group participants.  Participants may choose to dance, sing, play instruments, learn drumming, engage with sensory props, have special theme days/parties, write songs, learn instruments or try music and art or meditation.

There are no auditions or experience needed to join the group. All abilities and NDIS participants are welcome. Carers and support workers are welcome to join in as well, though there are coffee shops very close by too.

The cost of the groups is our hourly rate of $156.16ph divided between the group participants. There will also be a 10min fee per person per week for documentation & planning. At the start of each term the fee will be set depending on the number of enrolments.Participants will need to commit to the group for a term at a time and fees will be charged monthly. Please note that absences won’t be refunded as these groups are a Program of Support for NDIS participants.

The group will run all year, though participants are welcome to join at any time.
